OH Look A Bird Moments.....

Short attention span, what I will appropriately refer to as SAS from here on out, is something we all seem to be suffering from in this new age of technology.  We are constantly checking email, texts, Twitter, Facebook, and various other social media apps to keep up with what's going on in the world, and to shoot a line to our favorite friends.  As a result, we have all been prone to those moments where someone is talking to you and you check out....mostly in mid-sentence...before they complete their statement.  HEY, are you with me?? Celie and I have these moments OFTEN when discussing a book!

Well a while ago, we discovered the wonderful Darynda Jones and her Charlie Davidson Series.  For those of you who are familiar with Charlie, you know she's ADD and often drifts off into her own world while others are talking.  As with each chapter in a Charlie book, Darynda starts them off with some crazy bumper sticker or T-shirt tag.  Well color me happy when she plugged a T-shirt known as Oh Look!  A Bird! to describe SAS moments.  Then I found this picture over at LOL WTF Comics Blog and thought it was the perfect introduction to our OH Look A Bird Moments Feature.

WACKY Wednesdays

Soooooo, I'm a therapist and Celie is a nut so we thought it would be cool to give you guys a post mid-week to tickle you pink and make you laugh. Since laughter is good for the soul, we decided on a post we'll call WACKY WEDNESDAY! At some point we will make a banner and something super cute, but Rock Chick cool ....that is when I figure out this whole HTML, CSS crap!  This week's picture made me laugh out loud because my first thought was of Tack from Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley.

 

LMAO! This was funny to me because I live with 3 guys and all 3 will get the hell on if they see a spider web, and after I yell.......REALLY! my hubby will come back and get rid of it for me.  Happy Hump Day Chickies!
